Stonereefs

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026

This policy explains how Stonereefs A/S processes personal data when you visit stonereefs.com or contact us through the website.

Data controller

Stonereefs A/S, CVR 45073882, Hyvildvej 35, 7330 Brande, Denmark is the data controller for the processing described here.

You can reach us at mikkel@stonereefs.com or +45 50 13 50 44.

What we collect

When you visit the website, our visitor identification service Leadinfo receives your IP address and information about your visit, such as the pages you view, the time of the visit and technical details sent by your browser.

When you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you type in. The message is delivered to us by email through Resend.

The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the request comes from a person and not from an automated program. Turnstile is loaded on the contact page and processes technical information from your browser for that check.

Purposes and legal bases

Company identification: we use Leadinfo to recognise which companies visit the website, so that we can understand interest in our reef products and follow up on business enquiries. This is not aimed at identifying private individuals. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and developing our business-to-business relationships, Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

Contact form: we process your message to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR when the enquiry concerns a contract or steps before entering into one, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, Article 6(1)(f).

Spam and abuse protection: Cloudflare Turnstile helps us keep the contact form secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the website and our inbox, Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

Processors and recipients

We use the following providers to process personal data on our behalf: Leadinfo (visitor identification), Cloudflare (Turnstile bot protection on the contact form) and Resend (email delivery of contact form messages).

We do not sell personal data. Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where that happens, the transfer must rest on a valid transfer mechanism, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Cookies and local storage

stonereefs.com does not set cookies. We run Leadinfo in cookieless mode, which means it does not store or read cookies or other data on your device. Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, the website does not show a cookie banner.

Leadinfo still processes your IP address and visit information on its servers, as described above.

Retention

Identified visit data from Leadinfo (the company, the pages viewed and the time of each visit) is kept for 24 months and is then deleted.

Contact form messages are kept for 24 months from the last contact and are then deleted.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us for access to your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict the processing and to receive your data in a portable format.

You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on our legitimate interest, Article 21 of the GDPR. If you object, we will stop the processing unless we can show compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms.

To use your rights, contact us at mikkel@stonereefs.com.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we process your personal data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, datatilsynet.dk. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our processing changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
